Many Police Departments have had to start paying attention to the podcast medium in recent years, with podcasters bringing new light to cases and citizen detectives helping to progress investigations. Boynton Beach Police Department have taken things further by producing their own six-part podcast to help solve the 1996 Lake Worth, Florida murder of 18-year-old Victoria Rose Miller. They present evidence, timelines and other clues to help the public assisting toward solving the case.
The Daily Crime does exactly what it says on the tin, daily crime stories from across the United States. Produced by the team behind the Bardstown Murders, VAULT studios, the podcast is for real true crime addicts and clocks in at around 15 minutes per episode so, easily snack-able.
Law & Crime is launching a podcast network
The TV network regularly creates content focused on live court videos, high-profile criminal trials, celebrity crime dramas and legal analysis, we can expect the podcast network to follow suit which may bring a different flavour to the current crop of True Crime podcasts who don’t have that kind of access.

Date with Death
Oxygen has scheduled a Date with Death event that includes a two-night event on the Lovers' Lane Murders, Colonial Parkway murders. The event explores whether the killings were committed by a serial killer or were perhaps, unrelated. On Oxygen Valentine’s Weekend from 11th Feb.
Upcoming: The Thing About Pam
Another podcast is getting a TV adaptation. The Thing About Pam, a Dateline produced podcast will now be a six-part TV series following the dramatic and stranger-than-fiction story. Betsy Faria, was stabbed to death in her home in Missouri in December 2011. As the podcast did the series will take a close look at the actions of Betsy's friend and co-worker Pamela Hupp (played by Renee Zelwegger), leading up to and after Betsy's death. More Info.

Not strictly all True Crime, but this online virtual event presents Crime Fiction & crime storytelling with a set of curated talks, readings and webinars from authors and storytellers.
